If you are unable or unwilling to buy the special food for your dog, you can all the time try to make its food yourself. Spend some time, and lay out a microscopic money if necessary, researching a wholesome balanced and nutritious diet for your dog and purchasing the recipes.

Remember to be faithful when changing your dog's food as a sudden change in diet can also upset the animal's stomach, if you are going to be changing the food, do so gradually. On the first day, mix a microscopic of the new food with the old. Each day, slightly growth the number of new food until the dog is eating only the new food.
